chewy b.
Could not see the game. Did Olsen start? Is he injured? Hate to waste my last waiver move if he is ok. (Especially when I can still get Cassel!). He is my only TE (obviosly). Need to know soon... thanks
Chaim.Witz
Could not see the game. Did Olsen start? Is he injured? Hate to waste my last waiver move if he is ok. (Especially when I can still get Cassel!). He is my only TE (obviosly). Need to know soon... thanks Can get Cassel? I don't believe he will be a very good start at TE for the rest of the season. I do this wierd thing in FF, especially when I won't have any moves left via WW or FA, as we go into the playoffs. I like get backups for all my positions in case of an injury or pure sucktitude, and then I don't get goose eggs going down the home stretch or in the playoffs. But if I don't have a quality QB by the end of the season, I'm probably not going to the playoffs anyway. Therefore, I will sometimes waste my last waiver move on a backup QB, who even in a keeper league, isn't going to help me when the team's starter will probably be back the following season. I guess I find it strange that Cassel is available on Waivers, but in the same league, there isn't a better TE available than Olson. Don't know if he's hurt, but I would use that last move very strategically, even if it is to upgrade a TE. I apologize upfront for the sarcasm. I've been in a bad mood for the past few years. Goopster24
Olsen played. No injuries. Was targeted once deep but dropped the ball. Bears throttled the Rams in other ways so Olsen wasn't used as much as people would have hoped for.

To Chaim, yes, it seems crazy to me in a 10 man league that Cassel is open. I had him earlier and dropped him, too. I have Rivers, but Cassel seems like a good compliment, to use in wk. 14 vs. Seattle, and (hopefully), in the Super Bowl vs. Arizona wk. 16. Just seems like I could gain more points at QB than I could at TE.

Picked up Cassel, dropped Brady Quinn. I have decent backups for all but TE (Olsen), and kicker (Scobee). This is not a keeper league. I do like to take chances; otherwise I wouldn't have used all 25 waiver moves. But I did improve my team with all the moves, eventually. gilthorp
Hey Chaim.Witz, what's with the first person? I thought Chaim.Witz referred to himself as Chaim.Witz.
