Obviously, we have to take away years 98 and 99 from Moss and subtract those numbers from his totals. I'm not going to do a lot of math and/or calculate all the averages and stuff, but I think Rec would be 777. Yds is 11,739. TDs is 120 after you take away those two seasons. Moss beats Ocho in all three categories and nearly doubles him up in TDs. I will grant you that Ocho's numbers were better than I initially thought(so perhaps I need to retract the  from my original post) but I think you also need to take back saying Ocho's numbers are better than Moss'

Apologies, instead of better, I would like to use the word more consistant.

Some that might make it.....

Offense: Shaun Alexander????,Ocho Cinco,Andre Johnson,Hines Ward

Lineman: Larry Allen,Orlando Pace,Kevin Mawae,Jonathan Ogden,Will Shields,Alan Faneca,Steve Hutchinson

Defense: Ed Reed,Brian Urlacher,Julius Peppers,Darren Sharper,Brian Dawkins,Ronde Barber,Derrick Brooks

I wasnt gonna rename all the players that KPHolmes already put out there....I was just adding on to his list....But I actually think Chad-Ocho-Cinco-Johnson has a pretty good shot to make the team depending on how many recievers they plan on having....Obviously Moss and Owens are easy choices at WR...BTW I actually forgot all about Tory Holt, great pick IMO.

Im guessing it'll be 5-6 recievers...This is where I rank them.

1) Randy Moss

2) Terrell Owens

3) Marvin Harrison

4) Tory Holt

5) Chad Ocho Cinco Johnson

6) Hines Ward

Hope im not forgetting any1.....

Not sure Marvin deserves to be on the list. I initially thought he did, but he did his damage in the mid to late 90's then the first have of the decade in question.

in this decade

7 1,000 + yd seasons

7 seasons with 10+ tds

From 2000-2006 his receptions were 102,109,143,94,86,82,95

What is in question about these stats?

Years 2007, 2008, 2009. Nevermind on me trying to have a discussion, you guys get too worked up. We should all just get in one line and say the exact same thing.

Peter King's list looks pretty good to me:

Sorry Menudo.

King demonstrates in his comments, his team is more of a "Madden Like" team, where he isn't basing it solely on stats but how the players compliment each other. Hence Ward being on the list because of his blocking.

Ward has 24 more catches than Terrell Owens in this decade, though Owens has 41 more touchdowns and 1,700 more receiving yards.

41 more TDs.

I won't discredit what Hines Ward has done in the past decade, but it's not even a competition.

Im not worked up at all....You said you questioned his performance in the 1st half of the decade, so I looked up the stats to see your argument...I was just asking what was wrong with those stats....I actually think from 1999-2006 he was in his prime....But yeah if you look at 2007(He was hurt) and 2008(His comeback year) he started to downfall....If they look at the 07-08 season as not being worthy then yea he prolly wont make the list....

Anyways, this is all fun for me...nothing to get mad over

I was listening to Sirius NFL radio one time like three years ago, can't remember who it was. They asked this GM if he could take one WR, would it be Terrell Owens or Randy Moss. His answer........Hines Ward. When questioned, he said that 90% of the other GM's in the NFL would do the same. Those who really know the game know that it isn't all about stats, it's about doing what it takes to help your team win, EVERY play of EVERY game.
