peteteacher2001
So any red blooded American/sports fan has to have some sort of pride or vested interest in this game today. With that said, I am having some of my football watchin' buds over for the game and gonna make some eats ala football season. So I figured I would share with my huddle foodie bretheren. I've got some tame rabbit soaking in some buttermilk for some dutch oven smothered rabbit. Deboned chicken thighs for the Weber grill with some home made bbq sauce. Yukon gold hand mashed loaded potatoes with smoked gouda, bacon, and caramelized onions. Summer style marinated veggies with sugar and red wine vinegar For what it's worth, being a teacher in Illinois, I have Cashmir Pulaski day off tomorrow so this is a three day weekend! GO USA!!!!!!! detlef
Already had our feast. A friend put out the APB that he was firing up his brick oven, so we all came with pizza doughs, toppings, and beer/wine. All took turns making pies and stuffed ourselves silly. Now I'm about to settle in for the game. Effing-freaking-A!
