The 13ers
Can someone tell me how these are produced or who predicts them? Also, has anyone kept a record of accuracy? Thanks.
Outshined
David Dorey writes them...not sure how he produces them, but my guess would be trends and S.O.S. as they are listed on each team page. I don't look so much at the predictions, but what is written about each position.
DMD
Can someone tell me how these are produced or who predicts them? Also, has anyone kept a record of accuracy? Thanks. I write them all up and I consider every single player individually to assign them their projection. It is a process that takes every waking moment Monday until late Tuesday night. I do not use any automated formula or such like some places do. I could write pages and pages of what I consider but in short, it is about what the player has done both recently and in general, his team and the dynamics at play there, injuries, the schedule of course and what opponents have been allowing a player like the one I am reviewing. Pretty much every variable I can think of that would impact player performance. I've done it for the last 15 years/ If you want to read my book it discusses much of what I consider. As for accuracy, the only thing that matters are your players so you can decide fairly quickly how well you think I track. I know in the past I have been ranked among the most accurate.
