troublez
One of my jellybean leagues has 3 IDP slots and I have been reading all the IDP articles and what not. I am still not clear which position to focus on. Because everyone only starts 3 and a lot of other people in the league arn't to clued in on who to start at IDP, there are a lot of really good players on in free agency. This is my scoring: Defensive Players League Value Tackle Solo 1 Sack 2 Interception 3 FumbleForce 2 FumbleRecovery 2 DefensiveTouchdown 6 Safety 2 PassDefended 1 When I plug this in to the huddle scoring system it seems to value DB's a lot over LB's Most of the people in my league are starting LB's Can I get a little help on what position to focus on? currently I own: Derrick Johnson Tyvon Branch Colin McCarthy Eric Berry Edited September 7, 2012 by troublez
TheShiznit
I would focus on Safties....specifically strong safeties. My league give me 2 points per solo and 1 per assist.....so LBer's are a premium cause they are in on a lot of tackles. Safeties tend to get mostly solo tackles and it seems by your scoring a player gets no credit for assists. However, you can still find LBer's that put up big numbers with sacks and solo tackles. I think you are sitting pretty darn good. Both you LBer's have the potential to be top 5 scorer's by position and both your safeties should end up top 5 for DB's. I think you stand pat unless D'Qwell Jackson is sitting around collecting dust.....but I would see what Keg has to say....he is more up to speed on the nuances of scoring systems and what not. Good Luck.
troublez
Thanks for the response. D'Qwell was scooped up in the draft. I had him on my list to draft.
