KEEPER TRADE HELP

Recommended Posts

I am in a 16 team ppr dynasty league. I was offered melvin gordon, Julian Edleman, teddy bridgewater, and this year's 4th pick for carlos hyde, DT, Marvin Jones and a 2017 2nd round pick.

Current lineup:

QB - Cam Newton

Rb- AP, Hyde, McKinnon, ware

Wr-dez, evans, DT, marvin Jones, jj Nelson

Te Delanie Walker and Ben watson

I'm in need of a back up qb but is the trade even worth it?

Agree w/swish, I don't see the improvement. Why not look to move a pick for a Bradford, Kaep/Gabbert, or RGIII. Can't be all that expensive for these 1 year gap fillers, what 4th rounder at most? Honestly If something happens to Cam your screwed anyways, so overpaying for check down Teddy isn't going to stop that.

Can't say with any certainty. I think RGIII will be there still come week 7 cause Cleveland really doesn't have anyone else worth investing the starts in. Bradford I'm much less confident in.

Just pointing out there's cheap options to use as gaps till something better can be worked out. Keep an eye out for the winner of Gabbert/Kaep and Sanchez/Siemian too. I'd also think Cutler would be cheaper to get then Bridgewater if you want someone more established. Problem with Teddy is even though he hasn't done anything to prove he's worth a damn, he's still young and still considered to have "potential" so any owner is going to charge you for that.
