jmarnsmeyer
I'm keeping one of them but still torn, the initial post leaned toward Julio. My concern is Julio playing a full season versus AP being ya know, old. I'm interested to hear some thoughts.
anismith
It's a coin flip really... I'd go Julio.
Chucklar
In terms of keeping I'd want to keep Julio as well...he's not as...like you said...old! Of course AP is a beast, but Julio is a target vacuum... http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/465392-trading-away-lamar-miller/?view=getnewpost Thanks! robotpimp
I think JJ but standard scoring AP might be as effective if not more, if I'm playing standard scoring having a back that avg's 13 td's per year over his 9 yr career is enough to balance the check book. 1.5k+ yards to boot, 20 carries a game avg that's a lot of touches. JJ is a problem for people to cover and I like the division he plays in to get his numbers (except CAR) but without PPR I'd give the edge to the ol @ss man (future GOAT). jmarnsmeyer
Edit/Clarification: 12 team league and Standard Scoring. My other keeper will be Antonio Brown.
robotpimp
That's a great start. RB1 / WR1 top tier for me I like it. Sucks throwing back JJ he's so damn awesome but I think it makes sense in standard scoring. AB will get a couple more TD's without Bryant stealing them and Wheaton is lackluster anyway. mow7
Think about next season, and ask yourself the same question. If you are worried about APs age now, what about next season? You're going to get a greater number of high production seasons out of Julio. AP may be great again this year, maybe not, but he has to fall off at some point. Julio's dominance is just getting started.
jmarnsmeyer
That's a good point but we our keepers are thrown back after two years (draft/trade plus a year of keeping) so next year is a wash.
mow7
Than it really is a toss up. My gut tells me Julio, but I strongly suggest you go with yours. If you go AP though, you could go WR or RB with your first pick, gives you freedom to take the best guy available rather than being swayed towards just taking the best RB available. Good point on not being swayed and going with best available...

I'd go AP since you are already keeping Brown. IMO AP is the safest RB you can have. You'll have your RB1 and WR1 before you even start drafting. And like MOW7 said it leaves you in a position to take the best player available rather than feeling pressure to grab a RB
isleseeya
AP if standard league and if you have Brown already imho Edited August 26, 2016 by isleseeya
BA Baracus
I would keep Jones over AP in just about every conceivable scenario.
