Next tier of WR...

The top 7 of AB, OBJ, Julio, Dez, Hopkins, Green and ARob seem to go in all the mocks I've done... order changes but nobody else seems to get in front of those guys. The next couple wr's to go change quite a bit... a legit case can be made for or against all the rest. Who are you targeting or avoiding out of these guys and why?

Jordy

Marshall

Alshon

Evans

Cooks

Watkins

K. Allen

Alcharmin just got a Kleenex sponsorship because he is soft tissue.

Evans will not blow his Redzone opportunities this year.

Marshall is Fitz's boy and the bet with Antonio for his car may motivate him.

I still like Alshon, we'll see if he is more like bounty this year.

Oh that group, I don't like Watkins. He's too dependent on big plays and Buffalo runs the ball too damn much.

Interesting... the list I posted is based on mocks where top 7 are gone, maybe a couple of the others, not always, when I pick at 20/21 turnaround. Did one tonight and had Dez fall all the way to that spot.

I've probably done 2 dozen mocks and find myself taking Marshall and Evans most often from that group, with Marshall, Jordy, and Alshon the likeliest to be gone already @ 20/21.

What I've found just rolling with the gut/first instinct while mocking is that I like most all of them better than the rbs that are typically there (Lacy, Ingram, McCoy, and sometimes Charles).

I am big Cooks fan and see this year as where he moves himself up the WR ladder and into the next tier.

Marshall---- fitz loves him

Evans---td will improve. LOVE him this year

K Allen- PPR beast if healthy

Jeffrey- monster but fragile

Jordy- big ? We all know his upside but he is older

Cooks- they got more weapons this year and he is boom

Or bust, not many red zone targets

I agree with this list except I would swap Cooks and Jeffrey

Figured I better give an update as to how the real thing went down today at the local... Freeman, A. Robinson, and Martin were keepers (1 per team drafted rd 5 or later previous season), so that changed the pool slightly.

Brown (me), OBJ, Julio, AJ, and Hopkins all went as expected.

Jordy went 12 and Marshall 15 ahead of Dez @ 17. Evans got sniped right ahead of me @ 19, so I went with Alshon and Allen at 20/21. Ended up with Rawls, R. Mathews, and Langford later to fill in rb spots.

Out of that list I put Nelson at the top. He may be a bit older but him, Rodgers & the Packers in general all have something to prove. And we all see what the motivation Rodgers has with a chip on his shoulders.

I would probable go

Nelson

Marshall

Evans

Allen

Watkins

Cooks

Jeffery

Seriously though all these guys are likely to be grouped close enough together that there will be min difference from one to the other.
