Top WR's in the Draft

Since it appears that we will have 2 WR in the top 5 and several more in the first round of the draft this year, I was wondering how much of a sure thing can they be. What I found out is that from year to year, the best WR's are not one of the top 2 or 3 taken and usually, they come from rounds 2 or 3 or lower. Is it because maybe WR's are more of a product of the offisive scheme than QBs? Take a look at previous drafts. 1998 and 1999 are exceptions to this theory and maybe 2003, but time will tell. 1996, what a year for receivers!

While there are some early round busts, the probability of a 'late round' or 'undrafted' WR making it as a wide recieiver (as opposed to special teamer) is VERY remote.
