  1. I would go Smith. Washington is coming off injury & Hasselbeck is not in love with him. BAL-SD can easily turn into a shootout, and if that happens, Smith, not Boldin, will be the beneficiary.
  2. A struggling, injured Gore vs. the Steeler's run D or Pierre Thomas vs. the struggling Vikings D? I'll answer yours.
  3. I've been offer Mark Ingram for Frank Gore straight up. Here are some of my thoughts: PRO: 1. Ingram is much younger (I'm in a keeper salary league) 2. Ingram is cheaper ($27 --> $32 next year, which if he produces, would be fair value), Gore is $36 ($41 next year) 3. Ingram is in a better offense. 4. Ingram, even though he's coming off knee surgery, has a lot less wear and tear than Gore 5. Ingram has the better playoff schedule. CON: 1. Gore gets more touches 2. Gore is in a run oriented offense 3. Gore will catch passes (we get bonus points if RBs catch TDs) I think that Harbaugh is going to run Gore into the ground this year, but then again, I don't think that the Saints moved up in the 1st to draft a RB so he can watch Pierre Thomas & Sproles My other thought is that if I do acquire Ingram, I can play the matchup game with Ingram & Woodhead until one emerges. I'll answer yours.
  4. Having watched him for about 8-9 games at UT - Never was a fan of his, in terms of his physical gifts, and his football skills/IQ. He's in a good situation now, hopefully he'll take advantage of it.
  5. Keeper league. Going into the draft (auction) on Sunday. I kept Finley, thinking he'll be my #1 TE this year. Dallas Clark and Brent Celek are the only other TEs off the board as well. I've got a pestering thought that maybe Finley isn't ready for #1 TE duties yet... I was going to target Zach Miller and John Carlson as value stashes, but now I'm wondering if maybe I should hunt for bigger game (V. Davis, A. Gates, J. Witten, etc.)? Thoughts?
  6. I'm considering offering MJD ($16) for Chris Johnson ($31) and Reggie Wayne ($27). I'm 5-4, #1 in points scored but unfortunately #1 in points scored against. Division leader is 6-3. Regardless, I still need help at WR. This week is our trading deadline. The CJ/RW owner is already playing for 2010 (2-7). Sit tight? Make the offer/trade? BTW, in our league, Keepers' salaries increase by $5 from year to year. So, it would cost me $68 next year to keep CJ/RW, vs. $21 for MJD. Only other keeper on my roster at this time is Gore ($31 in 2010).
  7. M. Barber vs. BAL L. White vs. PIT J. Stewart at NYG L. Washington at SEA L. White - does he get shut down by PIT, or does he vulture a TD or 2? J. Stewart - hasn't performed well on the road this year, will this be his first good road outing? L. Washington - do the Jets show up for a West Coast game? We do give out bonuses in our league for distance and unnatural TDs. Thanks. And I'll answer yours.
  8. I'll be coming at everyone with relentless pressure from the interior. That's a nice rotation, no? And as a coach myself, I've typically seen DTs go 100% 2 out of every 3 plays. Go 100%, take a play off, go 100% on 3rd down. Fresh rotations.
  9. Still on the board, DT - Warren Sapp.
