  1. I did the exact same thing....Norwood is already getting some carries and has more upside...I think we have seen all that Lundy is going to get to show us... coaches didn't bring in Gado for decoration....
  2. Please give your thoughts and input....I have: J. Vilma Bart Scott, LB Baltimore Justin Smith, Cin DE on the wire I could pick up: Keith Brooking Cato June Mike Vrabel Shaun Phillips Lemar Marshall Scott Fujita Demario Williams then the other positions are: Brian Young Chris McAlister K. Vanden Bosch Charles Tillman Rhonde Barber Adam Archuleta Kevin Mathis Gibril Wilson Madieu Williams Terell Suggs Jason Taylor Aaron Schobel Junior Seau Bryant Young Michael Strahan Jevon Kearse Julius Peppers
  3. Okay so our league is mainly offense but we are also starting 3 defensive players each week... any position..... our scoring system is: 1pt tackle 0.5 pts per assist 2pt forced fumble 2pt fumble recovery 4pt sack 4pt interception 6pt TD 1pt pass def. Based on the fact that our league is 10 teams and we have 3 players starting (10x3=30 active a week) it seems most of us would be starting studs...no need for sleepers or upside guys... am I better off starting all LBs or playing matchups.... seems like LBs are more consistent with tackles but not alot of upside for other things... DBs are very up and down...maybe 4pts one week and 20 the next... Please throw any advice/rocks you can my way... I am thinking on weeks where I need more upside to win, I should start DBs and DEs... when I just need to play it safe, I start LBs... Thoughts???
  4. link was broken....here it is... http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=2&dat...3/2006&id=11338
  5. Packers Trade RB Gado To Houston Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel - [Full Article] The Green Bay Packers sent Samkon Gado to the Texans today. Though it is unclear what the Packers are receiving in return, an announcement from both teams is expected shortly
  6. I could go with either QB so now it is really a TO vs Ronnie Brown question... to me you are starting 3 stud RBs each week right now with 1 in Flex... you are hurting your team too much by doing this deal... sure you get TO.... but who knows how that will turn out.... Ronnie Brown, to me, gives you much more at Flex than upgrading your WRs will do... and then figuring out your other RBs....
  7. League starts 2 QBs... points are really jacked up so its worth telling... 1pt every 25 yds 1pt per completion -2pt for interception and fumbles 6pt for TDs 2pts extra for TDs over 50yds -2 for sacks 4pt bonus for games over 300yds passing... so anyway, like I said, scoring is a little screwed up... so here is my deal... I have Peyton Manning Chris Simms Brad Johnson Someone just cut Philip Rivers... do I drop Simms or Johnson to pick him up? first thought is that I don't want to cut any others but, I am willing to hear opinions... Manning Simms B. Johnson R. Brown W. McGahee D. Rhodes M. Bell W. Lundy D. Mason R. Smith A. Johnson E. Wilford A. Bryant Mi. Clayton D. Gabriel G. Jennings LJ Smith
  8. What the @#$#@ was I thinking... sorry bout that... thought I was in the other forum... 5 year huddler...and still screwing up once in awhile..... LOL

  10. looking for someone else to validate it as well...but it was more of an FYI.... and more of the proverbial fantasy football backup RB hope
  11. read this recently.... ...the last time Kubiak started a 6th round RB (while with the Broncos) that RB had 1,100 yards and 8 TD's for the season...his name was Terrell Davis. Let's hope so....
  12. GET IN MY BELLY!!!! finally its back.... of course I will be scouring the waiver wire for the Anquan Boldin of this year!!
  13. this may sound crazy but.... while i agree with the idea of never benching your studs I think the idea can backfire as well... two of the five years I have been playing fantasy football I have been able to trade and work my way into a roster that is all top 20 people... people you would never bench... you just plug them in and leave them alone... both times that has happened I have lost in the playoffs.... I have won it all twice in 5 years, but it has never been with a no brainer roster....always a few upside guys that have good matchups... so I think having an allstar roster can backfire sometimes...
  14. don't know anything about how many you can start and what your scoring system is...post that next time... but assuming that you can start 2 RBs and 3WRs and you are in a league with standard scoring, nothing crazy... I think you do the deal and do it now... you won't be touching your starting 3 WRs and you will be picking up a RB that should start for you immediately... do it now....
