  1. WHIR if you post a link. PPR league. My squad: QB - Cutler, Rivers, Orton RB - Westbrook, Gore, Forte, Morris, Stewart WR - White, Edwards, Bowe, Evans, Holt TE - Gates D - Philly I've been throwing Rivers out there in search of a stud #1 wideout for the last month or so with not much luck. White's starting to look like a legit #1, but I'm not totally sold on relying on him as my go-to WR each week and would love another stud next to him in my lineup. Guy just offered me T.O. for Westy and Evans, which I obviously turned down. Just got off the phone, he needs RB help and sounded very interested in Forte. His team: QB - Rodgers, Delhomme, B. Johnson RB - Turner, Lynch, Grant, R. Johnson WR - T.O., Megatron, Royal, Harrison, Meachum TE - Shockey, Scaife I really wanted to hold onto Forte at first, but with Maroney going down for the year and Morris running wild tonight (albeit against a crap Broncos' D), I feel a little better about Forte being used as trade fodder...though I think I should also take one of his RBs in return just for depth. I'm thinking of something like Megatron/T.O + whatever RB he likes least of Turner/Lynch/Grant for Forte and whichever of my WRs he likes best not named White. Who do you guys like between T.O. and Johnson? Obviously Dallas's offense is going to continue to score a LOT of points when Romo gets back, but they've got a ridiculous amount of weapons now that they've added Roy and I'm not sure how much I like T.O. as a consistent, every-week option. Megatron plays on the most apocraphyl franchise in the league, but he's now their only receving option. That could/will lead to lots of double teams, but the Lions are always going to be passing and playing from behind so I think he's still gonna get his each week. Thoughts?
  2. Another guy in our league and I have somewhat agreed in principle to trade RIvers (mine) for Boldin (his), pending the other parts that will be thrown into the trade. It's a 10 man PPR league, we also get .5 points per completion. My team: QB - Cutler, RIvers, Orton RB - Westbrook, Gore, Forte, Stewart WR - Edwards, Holt, White, Bowe, Evans, Galloway TE - Gates His team: QB - O'Sullivan, Palmer RB - ADP, Jacobs, Slaton, McFadden, Hightower WR - Boldin, Jennings, Engram, Reg. Brown, Coles, Hilliard TE - Clark Obviously he's going to want a WR in return, so who do I offer? This guy's kind of had a hard-on for Bowe for a while, so I think that would work. Though I also think that Edwards is gonna be near-worthless all year, so I wouldn't have any problem trading him away. On my end, I'd like to have a better backup option than Orton. Should I take O'Sullivan or Palmer? Thanks for the help.
  3. If I'm reading it right, it's 4 PPR for every 4 receptions, which is the same as 1 ppr...it's just that he'll get no points for 3 catches, just 4 points for 4-7, etc.
  4. No, we just start 1 QB. Only reason I have 3 is because last week Gostowski was on a bye so I had picked up Lindell and obviously didn't need 2 kickers.
  5. Thanks...none of the guys you mentioned are available on the WW though. Some of the names that are available: Kevin Walter, Michael Bush, Randel-El, Gage, Breaston, Battle, Fred Jackson, Galloway, Fargas. Galloways the one who looks the best to me, though he doesn't clear waivers till tomorrow. Walter's probably next. I like Breaston as long as Boldin's out, but it may not be that long.
  6. (please leave link so I can HIR) 10 team league, 1 ppr, .5 ppc. My team: QB - Cutler, Rivers, Orton RB - Westbrook, Gore, Forte, Stewart, Watson WR - Edwards, Holt, Bowe, Evans, White, Rice TE - Gates K - Bironas D - Philly Obviously my top 2 WRs have totally s*** the bed on me this year and have left me with a WR corps full of damn good 2/3 types, but no one I can count on week to week as a #1. I've been desperately looking over the other teams around the league and seeing what kind of deal I can come up with, but there's not a whole lot of possibilities. I'm dying to have Andre Johnson, but unfortunately the person who has him is just as high on him as I am, despite his slow start. The only team I can see maybe working something with looks like this: QB - Rodgers, Anderson, Delhomme RB - Lynch, Turner, Grant, Rudi WR - T.O., Calvin Johnson,Harrison, Royal, Meachem TE - Fasano, Shockey K - Rackers D - NYG, Buffalo I was originally going to propose Rivers & Edwards for TO, but I forgot he had Rodgers so I then wondered if this would really be benefiting him at all. Is it worth holding out for a week or two, hope Anderson continues to suck and Rodgers' injury causes a few games and then throw something out there? Or am I just overreacting here? Although my team is 2-2 and currently in 5th place, I've scored the most points in the league by 30. Is my best bet to sit tight, play the matchup game with my current wideouts, and wait until another team loses a QB to injury or whatever and then package Rivers?
  7. Ok, how does that help me given that Olsen isn't available in my league?
  8. PPR league. Watson @ SF Scaife @ Ten Rosario vs. KC Shiancoe @ NO Martin vs. SD Smith @ Den Stevens @ Den Lee vs. Atl Smith vs. Wash And due to a bye last week, I've got 2 kickers, so which do I drop: Gostowski or Lindell?
  9. Thanks guys...what about Edwards? Too much potential to sit or do I bench him, injured, in a tough matchup for someone else?
  10. PPR League, need a flex starter: Forte vs. TB White vs. KC Evans vs. Oak Bowe @ Atl I've been rolling with Forte but that Tampa defense is tough and it wouldn't surprise me to see them aim to shut him down and make Orton beat 'em. I'm really liking both matchups for the KC/Atl game. Evans being covered my Asomugha worries me a bit, but it worried me last week and Bowe still put up a nice game. Plus theres the D'apocraphy Hall factor. And I COULD play two of them. Not sure how much I'm liking a dissapointing, injured Bralylon at Baltimore. In my other league (also ppr), do I go with a struggling Housh with a tough matchup @ NY, or try with Mason at home against a beat up secondary?
  11. Standard scoring, 1 ppr league, also .5 ppc. I've currently got: QB - Cutler, Rivers WR - Edwards, Holt, Bowe, Evans, Rice, White RB - Westbrook, Gore, Forte, Stewart, Watson TE - Gates, Crumpler D - Philly K - Bironas We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 flex. My main issue with my team right now is that I'm pretty worried about Braylon. I've seen a lot of Browns football over the last 3 or 4 years and he's looking frighteningly similar to the way he looked prior to his breakout '07. Hopefully it's just rust from missing most of the preseason but I'm not convinced yet. I originally had an owner wanted to give me 85 & Hasselbeck for Rivers and Rice, but as I said I decided 85's too much of a risk right now. Jennings is the man in an offense that appears to be pretty potent in GB so I think that's a safer play if this guy will take it. If this sounds good for me, should I go for Palmer or O'Sullivan as the extra piece in the deal?
  12. Ok, I tried to get Steve Smith in the deal instead but he rejected it. However, he countered me with Ocho Cinco & Hasselbeck for Rivers and Rice. I think I've gotta pull the trigger on this now, no?
