  1. With the FF playoffs in full swing, what are some of your thoughts on FWP this week against JAX. The touches and rushing yards have been there for him this season but only 2 TD's seems to make him a risky play. His numbers last year week 2 at JAX were terrible and this season they are only giving up 93 RUSH YPG. PIT seems commited to Davenport around the goal line and the lack of receiving numbers seem to really be bringing down his value for the most important games of the season.
  2. Ok, well our league recently passed a trade between S. Smith and R. Brown. As luck would put it, Brown is out for the year and a few guys in the league are rumbling that since S. Smith did not play this week, that the trade should be reversed!? Suprisingly the owner that traded Brown away actually agrees with this idea, Ethics in Fantasy Football, is it necessary? Any Huddler input would be appreciated. Trade was passed on Friday so the owner did have Brown in his lineup this week.
  3. Steve Smith 5/32/0 Brandon Marshall 3/23/1td David Carr will kill Steve Smith's value!
  4. I dont know, if it was the white gloves, or the hair doo, but I think its necessary to take S. Smith out of my line-up and go with B. Marshall. TB defense isnt great but good enough to likely take him out of the game, and if last week was any indication... yikes. Good luck to all of you with the guts to leave Smith in... I know he is a stud but IMO, Carr is going to really hurt this guy's stats.
  5. LJ will get guaranteed touches and the SD defense hasnt been very good. I would go LJ
  6. Carr at QB plus TB defense = many three and out's. Denver should move the ball well with Henry so I could see more chances at some long FG's in the dome.
  7. agreed... Dayne presents a better opportunity at getting more productive redzone touches.
  8. Cutler has the weapons and arm to make some big plays on the Indy defense despite Walker possibly being out but I agree that Pennington has a better matchup and two healthy WR's to throw to. I am one of the " I drafted this guy in the first round for a reason" owers and would probably go with LJ because you hate for him to be on your bench when he finally comes around. Then again you hate for him to be in your lineup when he doesnt! LJ > Foster in Week 4
  9. I think Evans is going to have a break out game this week, but at a flex spot, its really hard to not take a RB that is going to get atleast one touch on each series. NFC East showdown + SNF = Solid game for Droughns.
  10. I say yes because with Boldin out, those targets are going to likely end up going Mr. Fitzgeralds way. He is physical enough to get seperation on either Townsend or Ike Taylor, and with this game being in Arizona, I think they will really try to light up the scoreboard. He's due for a big game!
  11. I really think Rivers has a great game this week. All the talk has been about LT lighting up the KC defense but with all the focus being on him, it should give Rivers plenty time to hit the open man and produce some good numbers.
  12. I agree with Romo, he's going to have a field day against yet another week secondary. Lamont has no one pressing him for carries, and despite the blow up game from Brown, I would wait another week to make sure he gets the same amount of touches.
  13. If you were on the fence about these guys, here is what I think for this week. QB Phillip Rivers vs KC - We all heard LJ, football is like checkers, not chess. And if thats any indication, KC will be setting up to stop the run which should give Rivers plenty of time to hit the open recievers. Inside the 10 its all LT but they will have to use the pass to set up in the redzone so I will say 260 pass yards and 2 TD's in this contest. RB Cedrick Benson @ DET - With a new QB under center for Chicago, look for them to ease Griese in with some dump offs to Benson, along with plenty of touches to manage the clock. We all know what Detroit is capable on offense but they allowed Philly to get their offense going last week and I expect the same in this game for a pumped up Chicago team. 110 yds rushing 25 yards rec, 1 TD WR Lee Evans vs NYJ - Ok, you drafted this guy with high expectations. Well this is FF and it has been nothing that we expected so far. Mr. Evans, welcome back to the hearts of fantasy owners everywhere. I like Lee to get back on track this week against the NYJ and with A. Dyson questionable, he could have a juicy match up against rookie CB Derrelle Revis. Trent Edwards had the week to prepare for this game and with the home crowd behind him I say he connects with Evans for 120 rec yards and a TD. Good luck to all the huddler's this week!
  14. Out of this group I have to say that Norwood is your best bet because of the opportunities that the Houston defense will give him. The game is shaping up to be one of those grind out, ball control games that I think will give Norwood enough chances to break into the endzone.
