  1. Yea agree, should be able to get more value out of Forte...especially with Cutler injured, they are going to continue to ride Forte. I would def look more for an actual low end WR1, rather than a teams best receiver. Maybe try to package away one of your low end WR plus forte for a legit WR1.... but don't trade him away for S Moss,S Smith, or M Williams as all have their individual struggles. S Moss has to deal with D McNabb and a rough Wash offense, while Smith has become the 2nd option in NY, with Nicks getting 90% of the looks and touchdowns. M Williams is good, but def not good enough to trade straight up for Williams. He has J Freeman as his QB on TB...rough just in general.
  2. is it PPR?? What positions do you play, because not sure if this trade is really worth it for you. Right now you are stacked at WR...and your RB aren't that bad...Greene, showed some explosiveness on Monday, and LT is great, but he is old (in football yrs), and everyone is predicting him not making it thru the year at this pace...now granted he has already proven most wrong running like has this year...but I could def see Greene cutting back into touches before long, maybe even taking over starting, and pushing LT to a change of pace...Now Barber is on his way out...just doesn't have it anymore....but CJ Spiller is young, could push on Fred Jackson as well before the end of the season.... either way, just not sure its really worth the upgrade at RB for the loss at WR....White is # 4th overall in pts this yr...Austin is 6th. Really depends on what type of league you play in/what positions you play... at least thats my 2 cents
  3. I assume you mean Roddy White...not Rodney..... So this trade is ok, but I might try and push a different receiver than Roddy White. The guy is a BEAST. I might try and offer Fitz who is a bit more inconsistent, maybe throw in Barber to try and sweeten. My issues are that D Williams has been really inconsistent this year with Carolina having a HORRIBLE OFFENSE...0-5...with a backup QB and their star WR out.... Best is injured right now, and D Bowe has sucked this year for the most part. So Bowe is a throw away, you would never play him probably. Best and D Williams would be a boost to your RB corp, but wouldn't be worth it at the expense of Roddy White...I say counter if possible
  4. I give, Ben Roethlisberger, LeGarrette Blount I get, Cedric Benson, Jeremy Maclin, Greg Olsen MY team in Signature His team, Vince Young, Josh Freeman Michael Crabtree, Mike Wallace, Jeremy Maclin, Nate Burleson, Louis Murphy Rashard Mendenhall, Peyton Hillis, Cedric Benson, Jerome Harrison Aaron Hernandez, Greg Olsen This trade looks pretty good, although a bit worried about letting Big Ben go…Been holding him all season, drafted him late just for this reason…Don’t know if I can trust Eli to carry me throughout the season…Think I could get more for Big Ben than what he is offering, or maybe slide Eli to him instead??? Blount is a throw away so no problem letting him go, and not sure if Maclin is any better/worse than Mason/Gaffney as far as my WR3’s. Olsen would be a bit of a backup/drop…there are other TE on the waiver that I could pick up for D Kellar’s bye next week…. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great. THANKS! Scott
  5. Unfortunately, Heene got swooped this morning after I posted, didn't realize or make a decision quick enough...so now left with nothing and nothing more...so options on waiver Matt Cassel Both Raiders QBs Seneca Wallace J Clausen Ryan Fitz uggh not willing to trade away my other stars for a qb, but could be quite a few losses in the next few weeks...Thank god I won my 1st 2 games...
  6. McFadden has been playing better so far this year, but I am always skeptical of the Raiders offense. Tom Cable is a crazy man, and who knows how the time split will play out once Bush gets back. At least with K Moreno, you get a little more consistency on a better overall offense. I think Moreno is the safer bet.
  7. Ok so in a bit of a QB conundrum..., thanks Kevin Kolb. I have Kolb, J Freeman and Big Ben. I picked up Freeman after someone had a higher waiver and grabbed Vick ahead of me last week. So now I have to rely on Freeman until Big Ben gets back week 6 and I am a bit worried. Should I drop Kolb and pick up C Henne who is on waivers, and play Henne and Freeman depending on who has a better matchup each week?? Or do I hold Kolb in hopes Vick fails in the next few weeks its a ppr league; We play 1 QB, 2 WRs, 2 RBs, 1 TE, 1 W/R, 1 Def, 1 K....we also get pts for kick return TDs...basically points are given out for almost everything..... My Team K Kolb B Roth J Freeman Rod White Greg Jennings Adrian Peterson Ricky Williams Jermichael Finley Dustin Keller Robert Meachem Derrick Mason Jabar Gafney Julian Edeleman Keilland Williams Thanks, and happy to answer any questions u need help with Scott
  8. Agree to some degree, but Gonzalez is now out, so it def bumps Collie up a bit....just to make things more difficult:)
  9. I wouldn't drop any of ur WR's yet either...The only one I might drop would be Gaffney for maybe Santana Moss. I think overall he is better than Gaffney and def most weeks will out produce in yardage...TD's may be close.... But def keep Garcon and MSW for a few weeks to see how things continue. Garcon made a lot of drops this last weekend, but hopefully should improve as the season progress's
  10. I would be looking for an upgrade at WR before a QB upgrade...hopefully Kolb isn't given the boot after this week, as between Flacco and Kolb you could play situational matchups pretty nicely...but aside from that R White seems to be your only WR1, might try to group B Jackson and J Maclin or something like that and see if anyone who is lackin in RB would grab at it...
  11. flacco is a bit more reliable than Kolb...more experience, but might get picked up faster because of that...if u cant grab Flacco, then grab Kolb
  12. Who's on your waiver wire, maybe there are players/sleepers, backups, sneaky undrafted players worth grabbing.... I would be ok dropping Bess Leinhart White I wouldn't go as far as to say Rice is your only good pick, I think just where you took a lot of your players was a little questionable...but as you said, 1st time, gonna happen. You have a QB1, tier 2 I would say, You a have an RB1, top 5 going into season, Gonzalez is a top 10 TE, Carlson is a great backup, Gostkowski is top 5 kicker, SF in top 5-10 Def's.... I think Nicks, Ward, Meachem, Jones aren't bad WR2/WR3/WR4 picks, but as you can see you are desparate for a star WR. THey def have huge upside, but a lot of risk with a few of these players being consistent. Portis is terrible, on a terrible team, but at least right now he is the starter....should get 200 touches at least if he doesn't get injured (always a possibility:) ) Def look into waiver, possibly trying to bundle a few players for a trade once season starts
