  1. If you're down two points and HAVE to win to make the playoffs (and rosters aren't locked after first game Thursday night), you drop Torrain or Portis for someone like Armstrong (or anyone, really) who's still not locked. Who cares if you drop one of those two, unless winning the consolation bracket really matters.
  2. Id go with Jones, personally. He keeps getting carries, and seemingly thats not ending soon. Ivory just hasnt looked good the past two weeks, and even against Carolina he'll likely split carries, and I dont see him really effective
  3. Not that I think Ivory will be anything special after the bye...but Stewart had the job to himself last week and got nothing. Fact is, that offense is awful. No credibility at QB destroys the run-game. Stay away from Stewart.
  4. I'd agree -- Heaps a good play this week, and Tamme shouldn't start much with that roster. For Lloyd though, I'd really consider dropping Ivory. He's gonna be a #3 at best after the bye next week. I doubt he's sniffing your starting lineup anyways.
  5. While Crayton is a pretty good play, I have to agree that Jones up against a Dallas team that has seemingly given up is poised for a big night.
  6. Can't say I feel good about Welker turning it on strong, but Brady will most likely produce regardless. I'm almost willing to say Brady/Welker for Rivers wouldn't be too awful though, really. I think with your league set-up you're not looking to start Welker under most any conditions the rest of the way with your available cast. McFadden/Blount/Garcon in that flex spot sounds excellent. I wouldn't consider Orton though.
  7. He's got Bradshaw at RB, but that's really about it. Bowe and Welker at WR, but I'd honestly rather Benson than either of those
  8. I'll take Rivers/Smith all day. Rivers has shown he can throw it for 350+ with guys practically off the street at this point.
  9. Brandon Marshall in Denver, Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Chad OchoCinco, Terrell Owens, Roddy White. All shut down by Revis. The only WR's he struggles covering are guys like Welker or Harvin out of the slot. He most likely won't be covering Megatron all day (again, he hasn't all season) -- but lets be real...he's faced WR's with just as much talent as him, and shut them down in the past.
  10. The only catch is Revis has yet to cover the top wide-out all game once this season. He along with Cro covered the outside reciever for the whole first half of GB, while Revis followed Jennings wherever MOST of the 2nd half, though there were a handful of plays he did not. And btw, it's not a case of Revis still hurting (which they say he's not anyways), the coaching staff has just put a lot of faith in their secondary as a whole. I wouldn't be completely shocked if Cro lined up against Megatron a few times. However, I believe the Bengals secondary is still pretty beat up, no? Along with Aso being out with the Raiders -- the other two are probably pretty decent starts too.
  11. Definitely wouldn't take the risk with Rice, but if you could afford a couple weeks without either, I'd look at Collie. Harvins value is going to plummet, I fear, while there's plenty of room for Collie to still produce in Indy once he gets back. Especially with Dal, Ten, Jax, Oak weeks 13-16 (I'm assuming your playoffs are in there), Collie should be a valuable asset during the playoffs.
  12. I'd say Nelson or Meachem. I think Nelson is a "safer" bet to get a decent amount of targets but obviously Meachem could light it up big on any given week.
  13. A lot depends on which RB starved teams are you looking at? I'd definitely look to upgrade QB if possible though, yeah.
