  1. I have the #3 pick in our serpentine draft. This is a 10 team standard scoring league, NO PPR. We start 1QB, 2RBs, 3WRs, TE, D, K. QBs are 1pt per 30yds passing. I'm pretty set on drafting RB first obviously but then two WRs in rounds #2 and #3. My issue is this: I'm pretty sure the first two picks will go Peterson, then MJD (possibly Turner). I'm not sold on Forte who seems to be consistently in top 4-5 on various draft boards. I'm strugging whether to take L.T. at #3. He is healthy, has awesome O-line to run behind, etc. Why should I not take him over someone like Turner, or Forte, or others at #3? Thanks for your help on this one! Cheers
  2. i'm leaning that way for those same reasons. Martz has really turned this offense around and found a qb he likes with O'sullivan. Also, Griese is available as well. any thoughts on him vs. O'sullivan for the long haul? thanks again.
  3. given schaub is on the verge of benching and o'sullivan has really come on with some big games thus far, looking for a consensus on whether i should go ahead and drop schaub for O'sullivan while I can get him. cheers!
  4. gotta agree with the rest, i make that trade no problem.
  5. boy that's a tough call since you would definitely miss Marshall and his receptions/TDs in your PPR league. The guy got thrown to 20+ times last game. Plus it's still a bit of a gamble on the rookie RBs. But you're right those two RBs are looking like the real deal. Man, I'm on the fence with this one.
  6. thanks for the replys. can't drop another position for him cuz we can only carry a max of 4 rbs...
  7. My RBs are listed below. You can see big names but crappy play thus far. I'm not sure things will get much better with SJax, LJohnson, and Edge. I'll be starting Forte starting this week. Should I drop one of these guys and pick up Johnathan Stewart? He seems to be heading towards the man at Carolina. If so which one? Right now I'm thinking Edge as he was my 3rd RB picked and may not get many TDs this year, but man, L Johnson may be a candidate too as KC's team is really bad. Thanks for your help on this one!
  8. ya. i'm from Seattle and I say don't get caught up in the preseason stats/opinions on Hackett. he comes to play and shows up when it counts. on game day. i agree that we could very well see him with the lion's share of stats from Sea's recieving corp.
  9. i would go with young too. better match up and i think it's too early to put any faith in Grossman....
  10. My roster is listed below. We can only have 4 WRs on our roster at any given time. With Terry Glenn out for the near/forseeable future I'm thinking I'll drop him for a FA to make sure i'm covered for bye weeks. Patrick Crayton, Wes Welker, D. Henderson are notable guys available. I see the wisdom of picking up Crayton in place of Glenn at this point but I'm wondering which of these guys may be the best pick up long term? I read Welker is a sleeper pick up this year. Would either of these guys be worth keeping over Glenn going forward and worth starting given my current WRs? I'm leaning toward just picking up Crayton and possibly even starting him over one of my other guys. Looking for sage wisdom on this! Thanks!
  11. excellent points guys. I'm now pretty set on grabbing an RB and then that stud WR depending on what RBs fall to me... that's my normal protocol in the past but this new scoring system we have raised some questions..... thanks! i'll let you know how it all plays out.
  12. Thanks for all the replies. I've been deliberatiing over this one. I see the point of potentially grabbing the best WR at that spot too. We're playing in the ESPN league this season. If you read this following Huddle article it appears to argue that based on the ESPN scoring system, grabbing a top QB is recommended after the first few pics in the first round as they will score more points than the 2nd tier RBs... http://www.thehuddle.com/x7/articles/dmd-LAG-2007.php any other thoughts after reviewing this article?
  13. 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 WR/TE, 1 DEF/ST, 1 K
