  1. Quickly.....need 2 of these and it just may have changed now that GB is benching Driver and Jennings... Housh vs. Miami Cotchery vs. KC S.Smith vs TB James Jones vs. Det
  2. Taking a break from all the Xmas activities and decided to post.... We don't have playoffs in our league, straight records....still, this week is important. Romo is my QB, he'll probably sit. After a fairly big week a couple back, I picked up Lemon (Mia) to play against Cincy this week just in case I needed him. Since then, a couple of QB's have jumped into the mix and could be available....would they be better starts? T.Collins vs. Dallas (Dallas could be resting some starters) S.Hill vs. Cleveland (Clev D has been improving and it could be bad weather) C.Lemon vs Cincy (I think Cincy will mail this one in...I think Miami will try to win another) maybe....T.Jackson vs. Denver (indoor QB playing outdoors & cold??) Any thoughts? yardage points = not until they reach 200. TD's based on distance. Thanks and again...Merry Xmas!!! PS.....might need a RB this week too since Parker snapped a leg. Duckett vs. GB or Rhodes vs SD?
  3. Eli and Clemens might be high scoring, but for some reason I like Garrard.
  4. Stecker is the question, but honestly who is his back up, Thomas? Exactly. With that said, I might lean toward White. The other question is Gage vs. Driver. Gage has been hot, Favre is injured. Will a hit knock him out and then they have to rely on Nall (who was flipping burgers just days ago). Gage is a risk reward.....Driver has been steady all year, less than expected but steady. I'm rambling....Go w/ White. Stick w/ Gage and hope he comes up big.
  5. FWP vs. NE ..... tough, but McGAYhee ran for 130+....can FWP find the holes? TJ vs. Cle......... if Jets keep it close, they might run and that's good right? If Cle jumps out big (NE too) forget the run...ugh Who? Standard scoring....no PPR. Leave link for yours.
  6. I know...I know, always play your studs. I saw McGahee torch NEP on Monday night. I also saw Jackson have a pretty darn good game against Washington and this week he goes against Miami. If Pitt happens to fall behind...which NEP hasn't put the last couple teams away, so they may not...they may set aside the run. Buffalo (hopefully) won't have a problem vs. Miami and should have a nice day running the ball. All of this is moot if Lynch plays. I also have TJones who I could play. Finally found the endzone...and Cleveland's D is poor too. Thoughts? Pretty standard scoring (not really, but it it'll do for conversation). Will answer yours if a link if left.
  7. It's still listed as rain all day long, getting stronger toward the evening from the looks of it. What about that field? It may be marginally better, but still playing in the rain will just tear it up again resulting in the same game. TJ is a possession WR, he catches everything. He may be Palmer's security blanket which is my only hope, because I don't think there will be many deep passes.
  8. Had a huge game w/ my Thurday night 4 (Romo, Grant, Crosby...and somewhat Witten). While this decision is important, it's not as dire... Same weather and field in Pittsburgh...rain is forecast throughout the day and worsening as night falls. How do you think TJ Housh will do? My only other option at this point is Steve Smith (going against SF, but at least he's got Vinnie at QB...is that really an improvement?). I've got Branch going against Philly in my lineup. Also...I think Parker will still be able to run the ball (81yds last week in the muck). My other option is TJones who ran for over 100 against Miami last time out. Stick w/ Parker?? Thanks...
  9. Thanks...anyone else before kick off tonight? RB1 = Parker RB2 = TJones or Grant WR1 = Housh...or.. S.Smith vs. 49ers (wouldn't that make this WR2) WR2 = Branch the only thing that scares me about Housh is the field in Pittsburgh....definately not good.
  10. I'm overthinking this one as I already have my line up in place, but now I'm questioning myself... Parker is my RB1, but I'm not sure I like him in that muck of a field against Cincy (they've been better against the run lately), My RB2 is between Grant and TJones. Grant vs. Dallas...could GB play catch up and drop the run? TJones actually ran of over 100+ last time out (still no TD's) against Miami. WR's...TJ Housh vs. Pittsburgh on that cr@p of a field is tough. Also have Chris Henry for Cincy too. Have Branch vs. Philly which is probably a go. But also S.Smith vs. SF. I gave up on Smith a couple weeks back, but he's playing SF and Vinnie might be QB (not that that means anything). Who'd you go with? Semi-standard scoring. No PPR for RB. thanks...will answer yours.
  11. Carr is QB today....w/ Carr leading the way, Smith has the following #'s: 1/10 5/32 (If I recall, 4 of these dunk passes were in the final couple of minutes) 4/47 - TD (ditto to above, not used until late in game if I recall) 0/0 (Testaverde got him 2 quick balls on the opening drive, never heard from again) He's actually hurt us more than twice this year. Carr doesn't have the patience to wait for him to get open. He's gun shy and immediately looks for the 2nd or 3rd option. Until Carr stops driving his Pinto and realizes he's got a Porsche in his garage, I'm going to sit him. I've had other guys on the bench that have been performing while I've suffered w/ Smith (actually Carr, I don't blame Smith). It may seen stupid, but you don't always start your studs...especially if Carr is driving the bus. I'll sit it out this week and play someone else.
  12. Carr is killing Smith's production. Stokley has put up decent numbers and plays against Detroit. Jones vs. KC is my other option. TJ's my #1 WR. Standard scoring...who do you think will be most productive, not just start Smith because he's a "stud." Will answer yours...Thanks
  13. I'm considering Garcia over Romo this week, haven't made up my mind yet. Tough call.
  14. Losing 274-214 & 233-214 (double headers and they're done). I'm not going to score 61, I'm hoping Akers will get me 20. FG's are 3 (chip shot), 5 (mid), 10 (40+), or 15 (50+). Seems like it should happen....rarely does a kicker get 20. I'm hoping for a split this week. For us, scoring over 200 and losing is not good (but I've become used to it).
