  1. I've been offered Jimmy Graham. He wants Reggie Bush and Andre Johnson and he'll throw in a WR, I'm going to ask for Josh Gordon. Not a PPR and my team is Drew Brees, Jay Cutler, Reggie Bush, Gio Bernard, Fred Jackson, CJ Spiller, Andre Johnson, Cecil Shorts, Kenbrell Thompson, Greg Jennings, Stevie Johnson, Jared Cook, Tyler Eifert. The deal is contingent on a clear MRI for Jimmy. Thoughts?
  2. My thought on this subject is Reggie Brown has more upside. I am thinking Deion has alot of competition with other WRs, just starting with new team, tougher schedule than philly according to the huddle. Brown has been on the WW since wk2 when he was dropped for the crotch, since then I have thought it was a push between the two and had other issues to manage. 1pt per catch, 1pt per 10yds, 6pts TD
  3. Performance League My QBs: Bledsoe and McNair My WRs: R. Wayne, R. Moss, D. Branch, Mike Clayton My Plan: Dump Mike Clayton PickUp one of the following... I have them ranked accordingly Cotchery, NYJ (nice schedule) Bryant, SF (nice schedule) Colston, NO (lots of looks) Grossman, CHI (lots of upside if he stays healthy) Berrian, CHI (not sure what to think based on only two weeks) What do you think? The only one I am waffling on is if Berrian is an upgrade from Clayton or not. Thanks for your response.
  4. I would rank in this order, with Barber being the safest. Barber is very consistant and should be great if you get rec pts for your RB. Barber Jackson Portis
  5. Eric Moulds went in the 11th or 12th RND in our league and Isaac Bruce was never drafted, not sure why... it definitely caught my eye if I need to go to the waiver wire. We have to draft 3 WRs, and 16 players on the roster.
  6. Thanks guys for the positive comments. I thought I made out pretty well, however... it is nice to have a few other strong ff minds review. We are forced to take two K and two DST.
  7. Our IR's can be any position we want, we have to play QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1DST, 1K. Also we draft one player on Labor day before the official season in case we lose a player in pre-season. I have the 5th pick and have been giving thought to releasing Clayton and picking up Wali Lundy, what do you think? Thanks for the comments.
  8. Wow, you have a strong team. I would do the deal, Fitz has more upside than Mason in my opinion and I think Gore and Parker are nearly a wash.
  9. Draft results for a 12 team performance league picking #12. QB Drew Bledsoe Rnd 6 QB Steve McNair Rnd 9 RB Ronnie Brown Rnd 1 RB Clinton Portis Rnd 2 RB DeAngelo Williams Rnd 7 WR Randy Moss Rnd 3 WR Reggie Wayne Rnd 4 WR Deion Branch Rnd 8 TE Alge Crumpler Rnd 5 TE Vernon Davis Rnd 11 K Shayne Graham Rnd 13 K Rian Lindell Rnd 16 DST Atlanta Rnd 12 DST Philly Rnd 14 IR WR Michael Clayton Rnd 10 IR RB TJ Duckett Rnd 15 I think I did ok, however who the hell really knows, there are a couple of gimps, rookies, and the Deion situation. I was a bit concerned about drafting #12 and went on the hunt to find as much info as I could and married it to my own strategy. Thought I would point out two key Huddle articles I found very helpful in thinking about this particular draft position: Picking Players that Score a lot of Points. Is this the Year for the Stud Wide Receiver Theory. Additionally I reviewed the position pick sequence for the SOFA draft and other available mock drafts. In the case of my draft I was shocked with the gift of Ronnie Brown and Clinton Portis in pick 1 and 2, at least before the season has started I think they were gifts. I was sort of looking forward to trying the Stud WR Theory, however I am pleased with the outcome as it is. Hope this helps the #12s.
  10. Thanks everyone for the inputs, all additional comments are encouraged.
  11. Good chance I will dump one of these after this week for an RB, in a bind this week due to bye. Keyshawn Mason A Bryant T Taylor B Finneron S McDonald C Henry Studying the matchups I think CIN and DAL have the best match ups this week. However, Taylor and McDonald may have stronger QBs throwing to them. Your thoughts?
  12. I think Driver may be the safest pick, however I think Fitzgerald has more upside for a big game. I would play Fitzgerald despite the QB. Johnson would be my pick for RB, I think PHI will have alot of pressure on Green and will need to use Johnson for the short dump pass. Moore is to risky because he plays for the Vikings, and Jones needs to have a descent game before I would play him against the TB D. Thanks for answering mine, it was the push I needed to leave Mason in my lineup.
  13. Both facing tough pass defenses, Kennison vs. PHI, Mason vs NYJ. My gut tells me that Mason has more upside, he is a favored target by Wright. Could be a shoot out in KC with Philly. Advice? Thanks for the comments.
