  1. By the way, leave a link and I'll happily see yours..
  2. I'm in a salary cap league where you pick a fresh team each week. Can't decide which stud to shell out for at WR#1 this week: Roddy White vs. SF (SF falling apart and Roddy's seeing so many targets, but he doesn't have as high of a ceiling as DeSean...) DeSean Jackson vs. WAS (Good matchup, Vick's on fire, but there are more options in Philly for Vick to spread the wealth to...) Please help! Thanks!
  3. Thanks for your input - it's such a hard one. I'm interested to know why you ruled out PT so quickly? Atlanta have surrendered 130 yards and a TD per game on average, and there's no Bush to steal carries. I'm by no means a Thomas convert, but I'd have thought he'd be more attractive this week. I know what you mean about McFadden - I just don't trust him either, but the Cardinals run defense has been so horrific it's such a tempting matchup to gamble on his consistency. That said, it's rumoured Bush might be back this week and thus might eat into his carries. McCoy is certainly very tempting. The Jags matchup is a tempting one, but again, Iike McFadden, I don't know whether to trust just two games worth of production - it's sod's law that the minute I actually pick him is the minute he goes cold. Plus, as I've picked Vick at QB, I don't know if there's a conflict of interests there. Anyone else got any opinions?! I'm going mad!
  4. Hey guys, I'm in a weekly pick salary cap league, standard scoring, no PPR. Some of these slightly cheaper backs have good matchups this week, which will enable me to spend more at other positions this week. Which one of these tasty options should I go for? Darren McFadden vs. ARI (Had a great two weeks, and the Cards' run D is abysmal) Pierre Thomas vs. ATL (Always a solid option, but never spectacular. Bush is out though) LeSean McCoy vs. JAX (Another good matchup and he's on a hot streak, but I'm also starting Vick so not sure if I want all my eggs in one basket) Thoughts? Thanks!
  5. Hi guys, having a last minute panic about who to pick at RB2. Standard scoring, no ppr. Here are my options: Arian Foster vs. WAS (good player - bad matchup) Ahmad Bradshaw vs. IND (average player, great matchup, splits carries) Brandon Jackson vs. BUF (average player, good matchup, doesn't split carries) Thanks!
  6. Forgot to mention my scoring system, in case it makes a difference to anyone's suggestions - 1 point every 10 yds, 6 points a TD, no points per rec.
  7. Hey guys, I'm in a salary cap league where you pick a whole new team from scratch each week. I'm in a quandary about my RB#2, where there are some affordable but attractive options this week, which offer good matchups but will save me some money for other players. So, please help me pick my RB #2! I'm looking at picking ONE of the following: Ahmad Bradshaw vs. IND (The Colts got GASHED by Foster last week & are without Sanders, but he does split carries with Jacobs) Brandon Jackson vs. BUF (The Bills are another weak run D, and Jackson will be the primary back, but he's relatively unproven) Arian Foster vs. WAS (Proved last week he's the real deal, but now heads into a very tough matchup). Thoughts? Thanks!
  8. Thanks for the responses so far guys, anyone else? Deadline for team submission is in 2 HOURS!
  9. Thanks for the reply buddy I would go with Scheffler. As you say, SD are bottom of the league at defending TEs. Whilst Graham might steal the odd catch or two, you have to factor in that Desmond Clark also steals catches from Greg Olsen, and that Billy Miller isn't (at least yet) of the same calibre as Olsen or Scheffler.
  10. Hey guys, don't post often but desperately in need of help... I'm in a salary-cap league, where you choose your whole team every week. The last few weeks I've slipped, and I really want to go out with a bang with a big week! By choosing some sleepers and value picks at other positions, I've freed up some money to pick a STUD at my WR #1 position... But I can't choose who to go for... Pick ONE of the following: Steve Smith vs. NO - Historically torches the Saints, the game has playoff implications for the Panthers, but he's not been getting TDs on the road. Andre Johnson vs. CHI - Will he bounce back after being contained by Asomugha? Larry Fitzgerald vs. SEA - Great matchup, Boldin possibly out, but how long will he play for? Do I risk him not playing a full game? Marques Colston vs. CAR - Brees is gunning for the passing record, and Colston seems to have bounced back, but the Panthers have a great D. Greg Jennings vs. DET - Another great matchup, but he's not getting much yardage these days. Thanks for the help! Leave a link and I'll see yours.
  11. In which case, how would you rank my backs, 1-4?
  12. Hey guys, standard scoring league, no PPR. Who do I pick at RB#2 to go alongside Michael Turner? Chris Johnson vs. CLE Matt Forte vs. JAX Peyton Hillis vs. KC Thanks!
  13. Thanks guys, anyone else? I have to have my WHOLE team submitted by the start of tonight's game, so need advice fast! I'm so torn! Scottyjets, I'm seeing yours now. Anyone else, feel free to leave a link too!
  14. Coles - Parker is healthy and Moore only got one touch last week. Even though he's going up against TEN, I think you gotta go with the guy who's gonna get the ball more.
