BS Miscreant Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Dude has 17 Ks in 9 innings thus far. He's gotta quit nibbling and just bring it to get his pitch counts down but the guy has sick stuff. Didn't keep track of every pitch but he threw a 90 mph slider and followed it with a 98 mph heater to get one of his a Ks today. Also threw curves in the mid to high 80s. SLAYER Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Kid is awesome with unlimited potential. the thing that impresses me is his composure. the kid is cool and never seems to get rattled and he is only 20. sure there will be bumps in the road while he learns but if you have him in a keeper league you hit the jackpot. Sat against the Yanks Only 2 hits and 1 earned run. Problem echoes above remark as he walked 5 and couldn't get through the 6th inning.
