Qdaddyo
Last season, I was able to bypass my office's firewall, and hit The Huddle with it's IP address. Can anyone apprise me of the IP? Quote Link to comment
AtomicCEO
www.thehuddle.com (the main page) is http://198.65.131.173/ forums.thehuddle.com (the forums) is a virtual host, and cannot be accessed directly by an IP address that I am aware of. When you punch in the URL, it sends you to http://67.15.125.13/, but it's webserver configuration then routes you to the proper site based on the URL name. Going directly to the IP address won't get you in. Quote Link to comment

You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site. This was a web page message from C-Panel, a web hosting outfit. That's why I said it wouldn't work... A "virtual host" means that several different websites are hosted at the same IP address, and it routes you to the proper folder and page based on the domain name specified... but since you are just punching in the IP address with no domain name... it sends you to a default page. If we knew the path that the Huddle forums were located in... such as (fake URL, this will not work) http://67.15.125.13/thehuddle/forums/ ... we would be able to get there. But we don't. Oh well.
