loaf
seemed like it. actually, it seemed like the panthers d didn't give any time at all to our QBs tonight
keeper19087
Only got to part of this game on NFL Network, but just 2 more teams that have no, none, zero, zipo vertical passing game. Add Tennessee to that list. Watched the first quarter of that game, and McNair looked terrible. Good mobility, but could not get the ball down field. Everything was to the TE or a swing pass, or something in the flat. And, the 49ers defense SUCKS. Philly looked good, Cincy never got on track, but don't want to put down their offense yet. Same for the Jets, Pennington had a bad half. Farve forced too much, but you have to expect that this year, and then some. Warner looked terrible, for the 2 drives I saw against another bad defense-Oakland. His first pass lost 1 yard. With weapons like that, air it out, unless you physically can't. Liked to see Min in the gun 95% of the time. They seemed to have SD on their heels most of the time. Probably should have scored more. In general, not a good day for passing offenses. Have to say week 1 will go to the defenses, and the top QBs. I expect the top few QBs to have a big edge over the average QBs. Just my 2 cents. Watched most of the Eagles game, and a few spots of the others.

Very dink and dunk. Not what I expected from Norm Chow. Either the offensive line hasn't jelled yet and they're scared to do 7 step drops, they are installing just the basic offense, or they aren't showing anything in the pre-season. Whatever it was, I was not impressed.
