Does anyone know anything about Bulger's timeline?  I could really use the roster spot but don't want to if he's going to be back before week 16.  Any info on this?

Both of these are from NOV 22 but that is the only thing out right now. I would say hold off until mid-week when more reports are out. :D

KFFL Reports

Nov 22 Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports tests results Monday afternoon, Nov. 21, on St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger's (shoulder) injured throwing shoulder showed more damage than a similar injury suffered last month. "The MRI results were negative," a team official said Monday night, Nov. 21. "But there's a lot more swelling in there. He's going to be out for quite a while." With the finding of increased swelling in the shoulder area, it's uncertain whether Bulger can even return this season. As noted earlier, Bulger also suffered a concussion. Bulger did not have to be hospitalized because of his concussion, interim head coach Joe Vitt said.

Stats Inc Reports

Nov 22 Even though an MRI on Bulger's ailing right (throwing) shoulder revealed no structural damage, there is more swelling than when the Rams' quarterback sprained the AC joint and missed nearly a month earlier this season. Reportedly, the new injury, which has been diagnosed as a bruise, could keep Bulger sidelined the rest of the 2005 campaign. In addition to the shoulder problem, Bulger suffered a minor concussion when he took a blindside hit in Sunday's loss to Arizona.

Advice: On Monday, Bulger indicated that he would be out for at least two weeks, but at this point, that projection appears fairly optimistic. In the meantime, Jamie Martin will take over as the Rams' top signal caller. In eight games this season, Bulger is 192 of 287 for 2,297 yards, 14 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
