Now, they've brought back Phil and -- gasp -- they're still crap since the focus is on Kobe. Even the Phil Phactor couldn't change their reality ... that lesson cost Buss a lot of coin! Hmmmmm ... how long until the Lakers realize they were supposed to pay attention to the "Philly Phactor" instead of the "Phil Phactor" -- that if you build around a thug, you're not going to bring home a trophy? Yep, Iverson and Kobe will score their points and make sportscenter highlights -- but it is unselfishness, not pure selfishness, that wins championships. Until Philly and LA rid themselves of Iverson and Kobe -- or bring in a dominant presence powerful enough to overcome them (such as a healthy Shaq) -- they'll be doomed to be losers. Until Philly and LA rid themselves of Iverson and Kobe -- or bring in a dominant presence powerful enough to overcome them (such as a healthy Shaq) -- they'll be doomed to be losers. 1197308[/snapback] being a Bulls fan here is my comments on Phil, Love the man, thanks for the 6 trophies......BUT he was in great situations and that why he was successful. if your in a car race and you have a corvette while the other 32 cars are a bunch of pintos and a few camaros and win that does not make you the best driver.................now he is racing a pinto, and we get to see what kind of a coach he is. and its a lot more fun watching team basketball, whit solid defense instead of ball hogs.
