We only start two running backs per week and I am definetly starting Larry JOhnson even vs that stingy chargers Defense Early in the year you would think i was crazy to consider benching LT. I got bit the same way last year too, I benched Bulger for A hot Volek but and lost because of it. This is different. Portis is still a stud running back and hes healthy for the most part. dopple Posted December 22, 2005 Share Posted December 22, 2005 I can't say it's something you shouldn't consider, but personally I couldn't imagine benching LT. I've not been high on Portis all year, and think it's hit or miss how he does in a game. LT is capable of much bigger games than Portis and I'd go with the always start your studs approach.
