Flip_Side
DMD predicts pretty nice stats for Carson, Chad, and Housh. Does DMD know something we don't know about their playing time?
The Irish Doggy
From Bengals.com: Carson Palmer has been listed as probable for Sunday’s regular-season finale in Kansas City with a groin injury, but Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis wouldn’t name a starting quarterback at his Wednesday news conference. Backup Jon Kitna said as far he knows Palmer is the starter and right tackle Willie Anderson reported that “he took all the snaps,” in Wednesday morning’s skill session. Palmer indicated that if the game were Wednesday he couldn’t play, but he also said he would be fine. While Lewis left no doubt that he would go into the game full force, Anderson asked Bengals’ fans not to worry about what team the Bengals get in the playoffs. “It’s important for us to go out and play the way we know how to play and set our tempo in al three phases,” Lewis said. The Bengals have secured a home playoff game against the Steelers, Jaguars, or Chiefs, and Anderson asks fans to enjoy it and not worry about the foe. After listening to some national radio shows and hearing some talk around town, Anderson wanted to pass the word. “Cincinnati, don’t panic,” Anderson said. “Our fans can’t get scared on us now, whomever we play. We’ve got a home game next week. Let’s get excited about having the home field. Our city should be excited about having the home field and being back in the playoffs. Don’t let people outside this city scare you. If it’s Pittsburgh, it’s Pittsburgh. We’ll take them on. Our fans will take on their fans.” They are playing to win. You just never know the way the playoffs pan out. With the #3 seed, they could get a home game for the AFC championship by beating Denver and if one of Jacksonville/NE beat Indy. Other than Jacksonville making the SB, there isn't a scenario that would shock me in the AFC playoff bracket.
