Alexander's projected stats

Alexander's projected stats suggest he'll get 2 TDs. If he needs 2 to set the record, I'm playing him. If he just needs 1, I'm sitting him in favor of Morris as I do not think he'll play at all past the first one and I also think the first one will come early.

So is it 1 or 2 that he needs?

DMD, if it's just one that he needs, could you please explain the logic behind projecting 2? Not a criticism, but a real question - maybe I'm missing something.

The rushing TD record is 27.

The total TD record is 27.

Alexander has 27 TD's but 2 of them are receiving TD's.

So... he needs 1 to break the total record and 2 to tie the rushing record.

Just checked NFL.com stats. They show Alexander as having 27 total TDs of which just 1 was receiving, 26 of which are obviously then rushing. So which record is he chasing more? Total TDs or rushing? If total, he may just get 1 then sit. If rushing, he may get the 2 he needs in which case I'd play him.

Anyone care to chime in?

dollars to butthole hairs SA gets one AND HOLMGREN sits him. Holmgren could care less about SA stats (refer to 04 if you disagree) SEA needs SA BIG TIME for the playoffs and just to keep SA happy Holmgren will let him get the last TD, providing it's within the 20 yrd line or so. Maybe 2 if the second one is within the 3 yrd line. Holmgren could care less and it's been obvious for 2 years now.
