dmarc117
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2006602020646 State psychiatrists say a Troy man who bludgeoned and mutilated his mother to death in 2000 should be released from an institution, placed in a group home and eventually returned to the community because his mental illness is in remission. Oakland County prosecutors, however, plan to fight his release at a hearing Wednesday. ummm...so when it does come back, we should just look for another body? what the hell is going on here? my view on killers....i dont care if youre sick, 14ys old, or any other stupid reason...if you intentionally kill someone, you should be locked up for life!! even killed yourself if there is overwhelming, indisputible, and complete evidence against you. have a nice day! I realize the defense is often abused, as "insanity" can be faked. But even under your glib "view" of this issue, not every murderer found to be insane by a court of law should be locked up for life.
