Commissioner Paul Tagliabue sent an e-mail to teams saying that the NFL would wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to say what the cap will be for 2006 and what the tender amounts will be for restricted free agents. That's a sign that progress is being made on CBA talks and the NFL wants to wait to see if something can be agreed upon before making those announcements.
