Trade Spots

I've been offered a first round pick, plus some, for my 2,3 and 4th round picks. Details below.

I get his following picks;

1.03, 4.10 and 7.03

I give him:

2.05, 3.08 and 4.05.

I have the 8th round pick as it stands, this would give me the 3rd spot as well in round one.

The draft Analyzer says I should make the trade, but it seems weird.

thoughts?

That is correct.

2 first round picks (1.03 and 1.08)

0 second or third round picks

1 fourth round pick (4.10)

2 seventh round picks (7.03 and 7.08)

My 5th round pick would stay with me.

*If* you do the trade you *must* go RB-RB in the first round. So if you can't get comfortable with the idea of end up with your least favorite of Alexander, LT2, and L. Johnson, *plus* your least favorite of (in your opinion) the top 8 RBs (you've got to assume the 7 picks before your 1.08 will all be RBs) then don't do it.

Plus, you're pretty much resigning yourself to waiting until the 7th round for a QB, because you're going to have to use your 4th and 5th rounders to scrounge up the best WR value you can find (maybe like a Mason/Housh combo?). Assuming you are comfortable with all of the above, go for it!

FYI, this trade makes less sense if you are NOT required to start 2 RBs.
