xagent0024
I want to get the opinion of everyone on the QB/WR combo. My friend and I have been arguing about this. He claims that an average QB and an above average WR from the same team is better than an above average QB and an above average WR from two different teams. I disagree based on the fact that the QB/WR combo is a double edged sword. If your QB does well, you have a good chance that your WR will do well too, but if the QB does badly, then the WR will obviously do badly as well. What do you guys think? pistolpete2432
So then your friends opinion is Culpepper and Chambers > Brady and Owens ??? the numbers are the thing that shows hes wrong
xagent0024
It is along those lines but think more like Warner-Boldin versus Bulger-Wayne...
tonorator
keep it simple. an average QB and an above average WR is never better than an above average QB and an above average WR. the teams are irrelevant to the discussion. if i have a choice between two above average WRs and i already have the QB for that team, i do like to take the player on the other team so i don't have my fortunes tied to a single team's performance. if, however, the last above average WR is also on the the same team as my QB (or vice versa), i always take the better player. take the best player, forget about the teams.
