msaint
ROTOWORLD: Raiders head coach Art Shell says he'll "go with his gut feeling Sunday" when he decides who his starting quarterback will be. Andrew Walter and Aaron Brooks have shared reps in practice. Shell's decision will officially be a game-time call, though he hinted he may lean toward Brooks' veteran presence at hostile Arrowhead Stadium. Source: Oakland Tribune. Shell going with his gut is like Kenneth Lay relying upon his business ethics. I don't care if he's a Hall of Famer, the statute of limitations ran out on that credibility long ago, and he's simply a f'n buffoon, regardless of which stiff he chooses to get sacked 8 times this weekend. End of Art Shell rant.... Edited November 17, 2006 by msaint
Randall
That John Gruden trade worked out real well for the Raiders.
junebugz
Shell going with his gut is like Kenneth Lay relying upon his business ethics. I don't know if that is a fair analogy. I would say it is pretty safe to say Shell has quite a sizeable gut.
