BigErn
I was watching the Redskins/Broncos game, and saw that they were doing the individual introductions of the offensive players. My wife asked me if they still do that, because she's only been watching football for the last few years. I couldn't really remember and then last night, we watched the Rams/Patriots superbowl from 2002. The Rams got their offensive starters introduced individually, and then the Patriots chose to be introduced as a team. I thought that was pretty cool. Sumerall said, 'well, that was a unique introduction'. Did the patriots team introduction become the standard after that game?
uglytuna
Since 2001 the Patriots were introduced as a TEAM! Since then everyone wanted to be like the Patriots! Ugly Tuna
Bill Swerski
I watched the Rams/Pats SB last night as well. Is it me, or did Charlie Weiss lose about 50 lbs since then? He looked REALLY bad on the sideline. Edited January 19, 2007 by Bill Swerski
uglytuna
I believe the Patriots were 14 point underdogs that game. Then came, the Silence of the Rams! Ugly Tuna
Chavez
I watched the Rams/Pats SB last night as well. Is it me, or did Charlie Weiss lose about 50 lbs since then? He looked REALLY bad on the sideline. I recall Weis almost dying during stomach-stapling surgery. I THINK that was after the Pats 1st SB win, but am not positive.
