Outshined Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 News: Joe Nathan's pregnant wife is expected to have her labor induced Wednesday night, with Nathan potentially staying at the hospital with her unless it looks like he's needed for a save. Impact: Seriously. The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports that "the plan is for Nathan to monitor tonight's game from the hospital. If he's needed, he will drive to the Dome, dress and pitch." Manager Ron Gardenhire adds that "he's just going to get away for an hour, drive in here about the sixth or seventh inning, be ready to close the game and head back."
