boat_hacked
Let's pass the blame to someone else. Another facet to why our school system is failing. Courts rule LAUSD must pay $7.6 million to family that knew their child had a medical condition. I have a hard time seeing that the school is fully responsible. From the little information given, the parents were offered transportation to a school with a full-time nurse yet refused since it was too far from home. Right there the school should have had them sign a liability waiver if their son remained at that school. Another aspect in this case that bothers me is when is it the public's duty (school) to provide specific support help for someone's medical disabilites. If your child has a life-threatening condition why do some parents believe the school system is responsible to provide trained personnel to deal with their situation? Why not use their own insurance?
