firstandgoal
The top RB's last year scored: 394, 301, 266, 239, and 227 The top WR's last year scored: 147, 145, 124, 124, and 117 It appeares the scoring system greatly over favors RB's...and it's a flex league and we can start as many as 4 RB's with 1WR. Do I spend all my $$'s on RB's and pay $1 for WR's? Draft LJ and SJAX or 4-5 top 20 guys?

Tford
If anyone in that auction knows what they are doing, there is no way you can land LT and SJax without crippling the remainder of your team. I'd say target a first round stud and try to land a few deals by targetting older players or players coming off of a bad year; guys like Ahman Green, Clinton Portis, Jamal Lewis or even Fred Taylor as Flex2. The number one thing you should do is make a budget. Try to plan how you will spend your money by position. Then once your auction starts, adjust your budget as necessary. Getting caught up in the early bidding wars will leave you broke by the time the real deals are coming off of the board. Secondly, use some tact when choosing what players to nominate for auction. The first round studs will be coming off of the board early so I would try to throw in a player that you would like to have but is clearly not first round talent. By doing this, one of two things might happen: 1) You may get said player at a discount because the player is being viewed as "inferior" to the current players on the board OR 2) You may induce an overbid on the player by another team(s) that have an itchy trigger finger. Hope this helps.
