Pappadoc
CBS Sportsline league. I stole Benson in the 5th round and picked Romo in the 8th b/c all other qb's were gone. I am not high on Benson and do not trust him. Brees is the man and has a sick schedule down the stretch in the playoffs. I like Romo, but I am not sold on him either. I figure I am paying for the extra 30-40 pts Brees might give me over Romo and I give up Benson. There is no shot to trade for Brady, Bulger, or Palmer the way the other teams are structured. Any thoughts guys? Am I paying too much??? My team is: QB: Tony Romo, Jake Delhomme RB: Rudi Johnson, Travis Henry, Cedrick Benson, Lamont Jordan, Peterson (bears) and Mike Bell WR: Roy WIlliams, Andre Johnson, Chris Chambers, Devrey Henderson TE: McMichael DST: Bears K: Rackers His team: QB: Brees, Eli Manning RB: Addai, J. Lewis, Dunn WR: Chad Johnson, D. Driver...
mistercrinkles
Barring injury, your RB core is pretty solid. Johnson and Henry should put up very decent numbers. Brees is certainly an upgrade at QB, he could easily end up becoming the best QB in fantasy this year. If you're not sold on Benson, I hope you're sold on Jordan, because making this trade would be a plus if you think he can carry the weight of a 3rd RB. I'm about 50/50 on it though. Donutrun Jellies
Yep, you get a bit thinner at RB, but remember, "Starters score, Benchwarmers snore". I'd do the deal to upgrade my starting QB.
aggiebones
In a heartbeat: Benson is weak hearted and will only have flares of success. Romo is a flash in the pan. He may have some success this year, but he is already being figured out by pro defenses. He will be mistake prone until they go a different route. Brees has the heart of a lion and makes his teammates better. He will be a consistent starter all year for you.
