Pirate lookin' at 40
Here's my Roster Losman, Garcia, Culpepper LT, Maroney, B Jackson, Chris Brown, L White, J Chatman Steve Smith, R Curry, Jacoby Jones, James Jones N Folk Raiders DST Ok. This is a 14 team auction league and I paid out the a$$ for LT. Smith and Maroney were keepers. This is why I have crap at the QB position. The problem is that there are no good QB's available on waiver wire. With this lineup I still outscored all but 2 teams in the league this week - one of which I was playing. I am at the top spot in the waiver wire so I can get the player of my choosing. We start 3 WR's or TE. We don't actually have to start a TE. But, Witten is available. Would he be a better pick up than Drew Carter from Carolina? Also available are Randle EL, Burleson, Battle and Engram. I could instead grab D Ward - but I feel pretty good about my RB.s. The only option at QB would be J Russell or McCown - yes it's that thin. So, Witten or one of the WR's??

derenault
OMG, I cannot believe in any league you would find Witten still on the wire. Problem is, people still think of Dallas offense in terms of the Bill Parcells sure-fail system. Witten will line up at receiver repeatedly this season, and is also great buds with Romo. This is a guy who could get confused with Antonio Gates by the end of this season. But if you don't buy that, take a look at his week 1 performance (116 yds rec. 1 TD), and that will speak louder than words. Grab him, or your competition will, I guarantee it.
