Animal
12 team Standard non ppr league Start 1QB, 2RB, 3 WR, 1 W/R, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF My Roster: Kitna, Garrard, Edge, Dunn, Norwood, Ward, Chatman, C. Johnson, Holt, Evans, Clayton, Crayton, Kennison, V. Davis I am tempted to explore a trade for Benson after his dismal week one performance. I am playing 4 WR now and reaching at RB, with one of Dunn/Norwood and Ward in the #2 slot. Do I have enough upside from the Atlanta combination in the new offense to resist making such a dangerous play for a head case? If not, what would you offer? Benson owner has: W. Parker, Cadillac, Driver, Coles, A. Gonzales, McMichael, Rivers, weak bench. I would really appreciate your thoughts.
lawn saver
If you dont have to give up to much for Benson...go get him. I think he will do well this year.
Animal
Looking at his team and mine (above), where would you start? Dunn, Ward and Crayton? He is currently forced to start Anthony Gonzales at WR and has Parker and Cadillac to carry the load at RB.
Animal
Still looking for thoughts on this. Implicit are the following questions: (1) How much should be read into Benson's first game? Not only did he look ugly, but the team showed little confidence. I still think he has to get the ball at least through the first half of the season. (2) How best to handle the Dunn/Norwood handcuff in a 2RB 3WR 1W/R league. Will there be weeks to play both? Can I survive with top WRs (see above) and these guys as my #2 (with Ward temporarily. Do you make a play here for Benson, knowing his owner is reeling and where would you start?
