Easy n Dirty
This is probabbly being greedy, as any TJH owner should be very pleased with his production so far, but... Houshmandzadeh currently leads the NFL in receptions, with a very healthy 17 through 2 games (tied with Randy Moss and Javon Walker), but he's gained only 119 yards on those 17 catches (he's also been targeted more than any WR not named Javon Walker). That's only 7 yards per catch, a stat that is virtually unheard of for a WR and not even that good for a RB or TE. If you go down the list of leading receivers, you need to go all the way down to Eric Johnson and LT2 at #20 to find anyone with a lower YPC. I was actually surprised to find 4 other WRs with YPC below 10 (Mason, Colston, Driver and Coles), but none of them approaches TJH's 7.0. I know TJH is a possession receiver and most of the downfield stuff goes to Ocho Cinco, but after posting a 10.9 YPC in his rookie season, he has always been between 12 and 13-1/2 yards per catch. Is he being used differently right now, is this maybe related to his injured knee, or is this just a 2-game aberration that will correct itself? Any thoughts? The Irish Doggy
He got smothered by Baltimore on short crossing routes in week 1, that's mostly what is bringing his average down. He couldn't get any YAC in that game. His knee has been bothering him a bit, so that may be a factor as well.

But week 2 against the soft Browns secondary wasn't much better - 8 catches for 69 yards, 8.6 YPC. And that includes one 23-yard catch (his long for the season so far).
