I am thin at WR, but they ask for my #1 WR in return too. Is losing Donald Driver worth acquiring Johnson? Do I lose too much RB depth? RB waiver options are real thin. I receive Andre Johnson, I give up Donald Driver, Derrick Ward, and Sammy Morris. I would basically have Warrick Dunn as my sole RB backup, and Andre Johnson as my #1 WR by far. I am a lucky 2-0. If he misses more than a week I could be stuck at 2-2 after a couple weeks. Would you make the deal and pray Johnson only misses a week? Ponce Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 Andre Johnson seems to be a player that banged up would be very limited especially with his physical style of play. Even if he only misses one game I think he will not be the same for about 3-4 weeks after that. My guess is you will not see his production really back for about 4 weeks. With that said this trade would deplete your depth and really hurt your starting WR corp for the next couple of weeks. I would stay with your current roster. Ward is worth the start next couple of weeks, then he and Jacobs will split time. Johnson is an upgrade over Driver and could be top 5 WR this year, but knees are a tricky deal.
