kevwun Posted October 10, 2007 Share Posted October 10, 2007 Now that Dehlomme is gone for the year I need another qb to start with Palmer in my performance league. I've found another team to trade with but I can't make up my mind on Griese or Warner. I'm leaning towards Warner because the cardinals have better skill position talent. He is old and frail and might revert to fumbling every other play again, though. Griese has put up decent fantasy numbers in two starts but hasn't been great and there is the small threat of Orton being given the job if Griese struggles. It's going to cost me a running back, either Jones-Drew or Barber. I'm taking a gamble that Westbrook will get healthy and shoulder the load at running back. In this league you need two productive quaterbacks to succeed and my options right now behind Palmer are Carr and Croyle so I'm pretty well convinced that I need to do something. lawn saver Posted October 10, 2007 Share Posted October 10, 2007 I am in the same boat. I can start 2 QBs and I have McNabb and I had Jake. I dropped Jake and grbbed Green, but with Green out I just made a request to the commish to pick up Warner over Griese. If Warner gets picked by a higher waiver position Greise is my second pick I think with Arz commited to the run and having 2-3 solid WR options, Warner will be more productive than Griese Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
