Mystykoekaki
So what's the current status on Kevin Jones? After the bye week is he even going to get the amount of looks that is deserving for a top notch fantasy football roster? Will he share carries? If so, how many do you invision him sharing per game? Is he totally healthy? Also I have Thomas Jones, Derrick Ward, and Selvin Young and Jones is on my waiver wire, should I drop one of these bums to pick him up? If so, why? Thanks for any outlook you guys can give me, and please keep it professional with the posts.

SpinalTapp
I would be tempted to drop Ward and pick up KJones. From all accounts, it looks like both players are heading in opposite directions. Ward is beginning to yield his starting job to Jacobs. KJ is beginning to assert himself as the starter in Detroit. I am a Skins homer and watched the entire Lions/Skins game on Sunday. Tatum Bell never, and I mean, never, saw the field in the second half of the game. A.Carson came in to give KJ a spell when he needed it on third downs. I would bet KJ is the outright starter after the bye week. The only question in my mind about KJ is not whether he will be the starter, but rather is whether he can stay healthy and whether the RB for the lions will produce much this year. The other no brainer drop candidate on your team is Selvin Young. From reports, Henry will play at least into November, meaning Young will not do your team much good for at least four weeks. Meanwhile, KJ will play three games during this stretch. Also keep in mind, when Henry is suspended, Young will get first shot at being the starter - "first shot" in Denver does not mean "lock down" for the rest of the year, as we all know with Shanny. If you are a gambler, keep Young rather than Ward and pickup KJ. If you are a cynic, keep Ward rather than Young and pickup KJ. If you hate the Lions and think KJ is a punk, hold steady. On this issue, I would be a gambler and keep Young and pickup KJ. Maybe you end up with two strong RBs by Week 10 instead of holding Ward who will most likely be warming the bench. If anybody else wants to add anything, please do so. Thanks again.
cardman24
agreed. Kevin Jones is warming up right now. He's not hot but he should be good for 70 + yards and a td each game. Tatum Bell really isn't going to strike fear into KJ as far as losing carries.
SpinalTapp
No problem. Just say a pray that your coach decides to play APeterson for me a little more in the future. This 80/20 play split in favor of Taylor is killin me.
