endersma Posted October 13, 2007 Share Posted October 13, 2007 I have Peyton Manning on a bye this week. My Backup is Matt Schaub. I really don't want to play him against Jacksonville. Damon Huard, Cleo Lemon, Joey Harrington, Steve McNair, Gus Frerotte, and David Carr are all available. Do I go with Schaub and hope that they can't run the ball and he has to throw, or do I pick up Damon Huard in hopes that KC gets it going against Cincinatti, or one of the other mentioned quarterbacks? He's a better QB than anyone else on that list of potential pickups, and a more talented player against a tough matchup is more likely to do well than a poor player with an average or good matchup.
