Big Country
Just some food for thought. The ability to learn and lead organizational change is not negotiable. Don’t wait to be told ----ask questions and learn from each other. Not knowing is not OK. Be active. Ask “how can I support and contribute?” rather than “how will this impact me?” Be driven to own and implement IT’s mission. Accept ambiguity, take accountability to bring clarity. Communicate often, openly, and candidly. Confirm understanding. Support one another ----We succeed as a team. One fails, all fail. Demonstrate accountability for the entire solution. Follow up diligently until the job is completed. When conflicts arise, address them head--on and resolve them. Objectively assess people. Ensure we have the right people in the right positions doing the right work. Invest time in building and maintaining relationships ----inside and outside of IT. Do not make excuses! Accept we are not perfect and will make mistakes... but we will learn from them. Celebrate success and reward desirable behaviors at all levels.
