Savage Beatings
Each year some big name player goes down with an injury, and his backup steps in and either lights it up or shows why he wasn't the starter in the first place. This year there seems to be A LOT of backups on the field trying to make a case for themselves as starters. And the season is only at the half-way mark... there are certainly more serious injuries to come. Then you've got guys like Derek Anderson who are doing well as starters now, but obviously not for the long term on that particular team (ala Drew Brees in San Diego). My point is, that as difficult as this FF season has been in terms of trying to find and hold on to healthy starters... I think next off-season is going to be one of the toughest in a long time in terms of trying to rank all of these positions that seem to be in flux this season due to injuries, etc.
