Keep those trolling lures running right where you need them.

Whether fly fishing or dropping back dead baits, we rely on bait-and-switch tactics to help Artmarina's anglers hook billfish in Guatemala. Lit-up sailfish sometimes have trouble tracking a teaser that keeps jumping out of the water, especially when the teaser reaches the prop wash. Threading a sinker on the leader ahead of the teaser (floss holds the weight in place) keeps the lure running just under the surface, where fish easily maintain visual contact - and interest - until we pitch back an offering with a hook in it.
