Puddy
...can be key. Tracking True Keep those trolling lures running right where you need them. Apr 6, 2000 By Capt. Erik Lorentzen (More articles by this author) Whether fly fishing or dropping back dead baits, we rely on bait-and-switch tactics to help Artmarina's anglers hook billfish in Guatemala. Lit-up sailfish sometimes have trouble tracking a teaser that keeps jumping out of the water, especially when the teaser reaches the prop wash. Threading a sinker on the leader ahead of the teaser (floss holds the weight in place) keeps the lure running just under the surface, where fish easily maintain visual contact - and interest - until we pitch back an offering with a hook in it. Grits and Shins
You should first know how to change a tire before you move to threading sinkers.
