Mo Biggsly Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 I am thinking about dealing McNabb and Gore for Big Ben and Chester Taylor. McNabb is the only real weak spot on my team, and Ben has been lights out this year. I have depth at RB (Marion Barber, Kevin Jones, and now Justin Fargas), so I am thinking about pulling the trigger. Gore has been a disappointment, he is banged up, and SF sucks, so DTs are going to key in on him. Standard yards/TD points league, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, and a RB/WR flex, K, DT. fathazam Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 It's basically a 2 for 1 as I don't see you ever having to actually use chester taylor (unless there is drastic injury). I would say the deal would be fine if you can exchange chester taylor for someone else instead. At this point I don't believe its worth doing, unless QB TD's are worth 6 pts, then it would be. Steelhead Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 I'd do it. Like you said you have depth at RB so you can afford to overpay for Ben. I think Ben will tear up down the stretch whereas the Eagles aren't going anywhere. If you can get someone else besides Taylor great. If not I'd still do it.
