shaunf33 Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Hey guys, I am the commissioner is my league and the following trade is pending my approval. The trade is RB-LaDanian Tomlinson for RB-Jamal Lewis (CLE), WR-Marques Colston (NO), and WR-Santonio Holmes (PIT). The problem is that we start 2 WRs in ym league and the team getting Colston and Holmes already has WR-Steve Smith (CAR) and would only be starting one of those traded WRs. The team getting LT already has QB-Tom Brady (NE) and has WR-Andre Davis (HOU) on the bench to fill in for the traded Colston and Holmes. The team getting LT would be upgrading dramitically while the team getting the three players in return would be staying the same, in terms of average points per game. They are losing LT and gaining RB-Jamal Lewis and WR-Holmes or Colston, sonce only one of them will start with WR-Steve Smith. My inital reaction is to reject the trade. TheDude Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 (edited) I'm not sure SSmith is a sure fire starter anymore with his supporting cast, so I can see him starting those two over SSmith. Personally, I did exactly this in one league this last week, plus ADavis is giong to be back in the backup role soon enough, so I feel the new LT owner is actually being downgraded significantly at WR.
