The British teacher in the Sudan and the whole Teddy Bear fiasco. The referendum on Putin's leadership in Russia has resulted in a landslide by the people. President Bush, marking World AIDS Day by asking Congress to double overseas financial support over the next 5 years to $6 billion annuall, links US humanitarian effort as a component in the war on terror. A child pornography ring is busted that appears to be run by the husband of an Atlanta police officer. Google plans on entering the wireless communications realm in 2008. Henry Hyde is dead at 83.
